The Picture Tower

Recently at the Oasis, we've had many people coming from the Republic of Georgia. They've really seen the Oasis as a place they can come and feel at home. One younger boy is a great piano player and has put the Oasis piano to good use. Many days he comes to practice and he has had a chance to play at events including the Wednesday night program and the coffee bar.

There have also been many young children from Georgia. For the past two Wednesday's, four have come to color pictures during the program. I had the opportunity to spend time with them both weeks. They absolutely love having their pictures put on the wall after they are complete. One right over the other. They are proud of their work and want to show it off to all who come in. Their pictures now nearly reach the ceiling. I look forward to them coming this week to continue on their picture tower.
