How many Visitors does your Church receive each week? Do you have Muslim Visitors? Do you have Visitors with physical needs that your church tries to meet? Does your church have a Team who GO TO those who are Muslims or TO those who have physical needs, sharing also the Message of Salvation in Jesus Christ?
There are many ways you might answer the questions above and perhaps many clarifications to why you would answer that way. If you support the Oasis in prayer or with finances…If you support someone at the Oasis with prayer or with finances…the answer to the last question above is that YOUR CHURCH does have a Team who GOES TO minister to Muslims and to those with physical needs, sharing also the Message of Salvation in Jesus Christ. That TEAM is the Oasis Team who minister to refugees at the Oasis building.
The Oasis has as many as 100 Visitors on Monday when we try to meet some clothing needs
**AND while at the Oasis, the Visitors can take Biblical brochures in their language
…as many as 30 Visitors on Tuesday nights when there is often a Bible study in Farsi
**AND while at the Oasis, the Visitors can take Biblical brochures in their language
…as many as 80 Visitors on Wednesday nights at the program with Music and a Biblical message
**AND while at the Oasis, the Visitors can take Biblical brochures in their language
…as many as 100 Visitors on Thursday nights as we are open for refugees to relax, play games and they can also watch the video about Jesus in their own language
**AND while at the Oasis, the Visitors can take Biblical brochures in their language
…as many as 40 Visitors on Friday nights that there is a Women’s Program (usually once a month).
**This program usually includes some sort of craft, music, and a Biblical Message
**AND while at the Oasis, the Visitors can take Biblical brochures in their language
Not all visitors to the Oasis are Muslim, but many are. Many are receiving the Word of God and they are seeing the Message of Jesus in action. Most of the visitors to the Oasis have not heard the complete story about Jesus Christ. Many have never seen Christians LIVING the way Jesus taught them to live.
At the end of the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10), Jesus asked a question and the expert in the law answered:
36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
The Oasis is showing mercy to as many as 350 Visitors a week (sometimes more) by meeting some physical needs and by giving the Word of God in many languages and in many forms. Through your prayers and support, you are taking part in this ministry as well. THANK YOU!!!
