Gary and Shannon

 This is what impressed my wife and I as we had a chance to visit Oasis in Baden, Austria:

 1. The passion of the workers there that have a desire to minister to people from all nationalities.

 2. The many different nationalities represented and the plan to have interpreters for each language group as much as possible.

 3. The abilities of the workers to adapt to an ever changing dynamic each meeting and the abilities to communicate in different languages and cultures.

 4. The consistent plan that Oasis has to reach out to those who are in need of friendship in many different ways.

 5. The consistent message of Christ delivered in culturally sensitive manners.

 6. How far a smile and a listening ear goes with someone you may not even share a common language.
