On Average we at the Oasis give away between 2 and 5 Farsi / Dari Bibles New Testaments each week at the Oasis. Most of these requests come after the Refugees had heard the gospel message explained to them at our Wednesday Night program or after seeing the Jesus film on a Thursday. A few of our volunteers work in Farsi speaking Churches and often request some bible from us.
Normally we have enough finances to cover the costs of buying the bibles, but the demand for the Dari New Testaments and the Farsi Full bibles have left our funding to restock our shelves with Bibles a little low.
A New Testament in Farsi / Dari costs around € 5 while a full bible costs around €20.
