The Oasis

 Monday we held "Clothing Room" for Men.  We were overwhelmed with how many showed up over the course of the afternoon.  We were able to help about 140 of them. 


We are so thankful for the financial support of many who enabled us to buy needed items of clothing for these men. We were able to provide many of them with new T-shirts, among other things.


However, so many more men came later in the day---- we  could not serve them for time and ability was  spent.  At the end of the day I invited 4 Pakistani men to come back at 7:00 after we cleaned up so I could give them some new shirts.

They came and what joy to see their faces as they each received a bright new summer shirt.  One even exchanged a very worn pair of plastic shoes for  “real” shoes.
