So Many Children...

As we work with refugees at the Oasis, we have the opportunity to show God’s love to many, many refugee men and women...and their children. So many children are impacted and uprooted by the turbulent events in our world.

When I think of God’s great heart, I am especially moved by His concern for the defenseless and helpless. He even names the ones who are close to His heart; the widow, the orphan and the alien. I am so thankful for the wondrous opportunities we have to love refugee children in simple, practical ways. We may not be able to solve their problems for them, but while they are in our midst we try as best we can to shower them with God’s refreshing love.
