The job of caring for refugees God sends us is way too big for the Oasis Team alone. Over the years we have developed partnerships with folks all over the world. They come from our sending churches, from local churches here in Austria and neighboring countries, such as from Prague, Czech Republic.
We have some Austrians volunteers who come weekly. They bring are a special gift to us AND they take the stories and needs back in to the local church, which can spur others on to come and serve.
One dear couple, Annalisa and Helmut, are from my church in Moelding. I first met Annalisa 12 years ago when the church started a “Prayer Partner” program. She picked my name out of a hat. “Oh, I thought the poor women, I can hardly speak German”. Well we found it didn’t matter for prayer… and over the years, my German improved and our relationship grew. I shared again and again request about the refugees, and as she learned of the work, her prayer became the answer to mine. After she and her husband retired, they began to help me with practical aids in assisting refugees with delivering furniture and visiting, which lead them to coming each week to help with the clothing distribution. Their ministry along with others like them is such a great help to us. They consider it a calling of God, they are dedicated and valuable beyond words, to the Praise of God. We ask you to thank the Lord with us for all the helpers he sends, and perhaps you who are reading this will one day be one of them.
Thank you for praying that the Grace of God would be experienced by refugees through the service of the Oasis Team and our Partners!

We get by with a lot of help from our friends! Couldn't do it without 'em!
