Soon we will need to say goodbye to our faithful Oasis Ford Transit Van. We found out this week that it will not pass the yearly auto tests required here in Austria, and it will cost too much to fix the van in the ways required. It’s so old that it wouldn’t be worth spending the money. We suspected this news, but, of course, hoped it might be better. We can still drive the van through the end of October.
The good news is that we have some leftover money from Project Warm Welcome to go towards a newer used-van. After doing some checking, Tom thought we would need another €6000-8000 to get one in the year and make we’d like to have.
At times like this I always remind myself that our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. It’s within His means to provide and to do it over and above what I even ask for or can think of. He’s done it time and time again for us at the Oasis. Please pray with us.

Photo was taken, after I parked the team Van in someone else's car spot. No letter on the windscreen 'please do not park here again'.
But a protest of parking the van in.
Does anyone else have a story, or a favourite moment with the Oasis van?
