Matthew 6 instructs us not to worry, saying "What will we eat?" For our heavenly Father knows that what we need. Psalm 145 also declares, "God gives them their food in due time. He opens His hand and satisfies the desires of every living thing."Oasis teammate, Tom, went to the grocery store last week. He noticed bananas were on sale for a really cheap price. He bought bananas spontaneously. Later a new refugee family came to the Oasis. They were invited in for a cup of tea and a visit. Tom offered the little son of this family a banana. The mom's eyes got BIG and she asked, "How did you know?" Tom replied, "Know what?" It turns out this little boy woke up that morning in the refugee camp and told his mom that he really really really was hungry for a banana!!!
It is Fun to see God at work in our midst!
