ויאמר אברהם אלהים יראה לו השה לעלה בני וילכו שניהם יחדו God will Provide

Handing out of the gifts

With Sam from America preparing the gifts

It was defiantly because the program was covered in prayer that there was a sense of calm on the refugees who had filled the Oasis room in preparation for our Wednesday Christmas program.
Just looking around the room was saw a witness of God's provision. We had a translator for Persian, which was an almost dire need we had as 90% of the crowd on a Wednesday night had Persian as their first language. We had a family from America who had come over for their Christmas Holidays  to help us at the Oasis. This was especially helpful as some of the team were on furlough in the states and the added hands helped.

This year I have been filled with a new awareness of what it meant for Jesus to leave his postion in heaven to come down to us, to be born as a child and to live and grow to a point where he died to take away the sins of the world. That God provided the way that we can despite our sins return enter into heaven.
I wanted this year to celebrate Christmas, I wanted the refugees to see and know the Joy of Christmas.
It was a festive atmosphere as we sang the Christmas classic ' Last Christmas' by Wham and a cute
You Tube Video of kids acting out the Nativity scene, then a talk from John 1.

Our Volunteers who help out on Wednesday night are fantastic and they help the program run smoothly and are there for the Refugees to talk to about the message that they had just heard.  And they helped as each refugee got a christmas gift from the Oasis as they left.

Thank you for all your prayer and gifts of money that helped this program to be such a success.
