Yesterday we went shopping to a Factory outlet to buy some much needed smaller sized T-shirts for the super slim lined Refugee men who make up the majority of the Refugees who come visit us each week asking for clothing. Although we do get a lot of donations from Austrians in the community. Small T-shirts are not something that is often donated. I also blame fashion, which is to wear slim lined clothing, to wear the shirts tight.
The Oasis is also very blessed to have supporters from all over the world, who not only continue to pray for the Ministry here in Austria, send short-term teams to Austria. But they also send us donations of money that we are able to use to buy stuff for the Refugees. A large amount of money donated to us, goes on buying Bibles and tracts to be given freely out to Refugees.
But yesterday we were able to spend close to 450 euros on T-shirts and thongs that we can bless these refugees with.
So if you have ever donated some money to the Oasis, or wondering if you were to give some money to the Oasis and you wanted to know what we did with the money. I think the smiles on the faces of the Refugees men on a Monday would answer your question.
