THESE TWO came by Car

What brought THESE TWO to the Oasis?

Refugees come to the Oasis on foot.  THESE TWO men came by car.

We have been seeing refugees from the nations of Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Armenia, Albania, and Nigeria.  THESE TWO men, from one of these countries, came tonight, in a car from Hungary.

Many refugees we meet are from Muslim backgrounds.   THESE TWO men were also.

During our Wednesday night Evangelistic Evening, some new refugees may not stay for the whole biblical message.  THESE TWO men stayed for the whole message and discussion afterwards.

We don’t always have translation for every language needed for visiting refugees.  Our biblical message for this night was clear and started in the language of THESE TWO.

As often is custom after the Wednesday message, many refugees informally circled up in a group so they could ask questions about the message or Christianity in general.  THESE TWO had questions as well as some strong opinions.  THESE TWO also listened well and were thinking about what they were hearing.

The message tonight was about God’s sacrifice of his Son for our sins.  The discussion afterwards with THESE TWO continued to touch major biblical truths such as Adam and Jesus, the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, and the  truth that Jesus is the source of life—He defines life—He offers new life to those who seek him.

THESE TWO heard the gospel clearly in their language.  THESE TWO were not the only ones listening as several Oasis Staff shared biblical truths. There were other seekers and new Christians listening and watching.

In the end, the Oasis Staff Person who spoke the language of THESE TWO, challenged THESE TWO to ask God who he really is and whether Jesus is the Messiah.

It was a powerful Seed Planting Evening at the Oasis!
